Wits and Wagers Party Edition is a go-to default any time we get together to celebrate holidays with extended family. Last year, I decided to create a unique family Christmas game by writing custom holiday questions for the game Wits and Wagers. Dec 20, 2011 hello there, everyone. A friend of mine e-mailed me asking me the following question: ' do you know if/where we can buy the board game wits and wagers, here in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada?' I personally don't know and that's why I'm asking you guys. Please advise? Thanks kindly in advance.
Wits&Wagers_v2p2.xlsm (619 KB) Minor updates to this Wits and Wagers spreadsheet, including tweaks to some questions/answers (some answers changed over the past few years), reordering of the question sets, and updates to the instructions based on newer versions of Excel. | Mar 20, 2020 |
Wits&Wagers_v2.xlsm (628 KB) Wits & Wagers is a great large group game, but with a big crowd it can become difficult for everyone to see the game board. This Excel spreadsheet can be used as a way to run the game using a projection screen. It is an update of the popular spreadsheet created by tgbruiser (https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/30678/wits-wagers-large-g...). The primary differences in this new version include: - Full implementation of the standard Wits and Wagers betting and wagering rules, including the ability to choose how many 'chips' to put with your betting token - Customizable scoring and odds - Additional formatting, visualization, and input validation - Many new sets of questions, including 18 cards from the game As in the original spreadsheet, you can also add your own questions to use for your party. The spreadsheet supports play for 3-7 teams, though the game still probably works best with 6-7 teams. Instructions for use are provided in the spreadsheet. All disclaimers for the original spreadsheet apply, and are listed on the first page of the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet replaces the game board and tokens, but teams will still need the pens and dry erase cards.
